To help inspire you to think about which colours would work in your home Evelyn, one of our colour consultants, has shared her top On Trend colour and her advice as to incorporating them into your home.

I love the color Green. There are many shades – both cool & warm, contemporary & traditional. Its a colour that you can use in any room in most interiors.

Green is quiet a neutral Colour & can be paired with a lot of colours. For those of you who may want to introduce more colour in your home – Green is a good colour that will work with your Grey Interior!! There are a wide variety to choose from – Grey Greens, Blue Greens, Cool & warm Greens!!

DULUX – RENAISSANCE  From the Dulux Moda range:

A warm Green.

I really like the softness & warmth of this Green. Although some greens are cool this one is warm. It has a soothing calming quality & I would recommend it for Bedroom walls.

COLOURTREND – AGED VELLUM From the Contemporary Collection:

A Beautiful Green Grey.

This is a quite a contemporary colour, although it would be suitable for both Traditional & Contemporary interiors.
Its quite a deep colour so I would recommend using this colour in a room which has ample light.
It works well with Grey kitchen units – Pair with Colourtrends OYSTER BED or SILVER MOONLIGHT.

RALSTON – LEE BANKS:

A warm Green.

Nature never gets is wrong – Green is everywhere & it always works!
Pair Lee Banks with Ralstons Chalky Grey,or for a more Dramatic look pair with Ralstons Long road.
Good choice again for a Bedroom or a Kitchen.

Farrow & Ball – Cromarty 285:

Although Farrow & Ball describe this colour as a light blue grey – it can actually look quite green depending on the light – we all know colour is light & light is colour!
I love this colour & I choose this colour for a sitting room- pair it with Farrow & Ball Pale Powder 204 – on the Ceiling – the fifth wall!!
use also in a Hallway & a Bedroom – again a colour I would use in both a Traditional or Contemporary Interior.
