How to Paint Your Skirting Boards: A Step-By-Step Guide
- Lift carpet or protect with a dust sheet.
- Vacuum the area between the skirting and floor to remove dust and debris.
- Place a piece of card between the skirting and the floor to prevent the paint brush touching the flooring.
- Apply undercoat and gloss paint with a 2" or 3" brush depending on the height of the skirting board.
- Paint along the skirting board about 1 metre at a time.
