Aidan McDonnell and the Pat McDonnell Paints team were delighted to welcome Rachel Wallace in store to celebrate her recent gold medal win having been crowned Taekwon-Do European Champion in under 45kg sparring. Rachel’s proud father, John Wallace, joined by his wife Michelle, is Store Supervisor at Pat McDonnell Paints Centre Park Road, Cork and a core member of the team for over 25 years.  

Now 16, Rachel has trained with Cork Taekwon-Do North Mon & Carrigaline since the age of 4. Now a black belt and with a role as assistant instructor, Rachel is a real role model for the next generation of competitors.

Rachel will now focus on training with Team Ireland Taekwon-Do ahead of the Taekwon-Do 2023 World Championships to be held later this year in Finland.
