Here at Pat McDonnell Paints we know that decorating your home or business can become overwhelming at times and with so many choices in colours, brands and finishes, it can be daunting! That’s why our colour consultants are here to help.
To help inspire you to think about which colours would work in your home Matthew, one of our colour consultants based in our Dublin store, has shared his top On Trend colour and his advice as to incorporating them into your home.
Matthew recommends Pinks, or Blush tones as they are great neutrals that can create warm, soothing and sophisticated spaces. A versatile tone that can be masculine if paired with inky navies and warm salmon tones or more feminine if paired with pastel turquoises and plum tones.
Matthew’s four colours chosen are:
Stuccowork from Colourtrend; Matthew told us he has used this delicate blush white in Nursery Rooms a lot lately. Pair it with soft greys like Oyster Bed and Silver Moonlight to create a relaxing space.
Sulking Room Pink No.295 from Farrow & Ball; this is one of Farrow & Ball’s nine newly released colours. Matthew love sthis dusky, powdery rose tone. Pair it with Peignoir and Inchyra Blue to create a warm, soft and cozy space.
Himba from Ralston; This is a brighter, slightly more peach toned blush that create a fresh, subtle mood. Pair it with Zambezi to enhance the earthy rich tone.
Lipsync from Dulux Moda; This is a lighter, dusky rose tone. Great for creating a relaxing, romantic mood for a bedroom. Create an opulent room by pairing this with tones like Backdrop and Amaranth from the Moda range.
