Pat McDonnell Paint Sales are recruiting a Commercial Co-Ordinator, a key role in driving the continued growth and success of the business. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will join a small pivotal team tasked with ensuring Pat McDonnell Paints have the best-in-class Sales support efficiencies by aiding both internal and external teams through the provision of necessary data and support on items such as sales, pricing & inventory issues.
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Co-ordinator to join the team in our headquarters in Centre Park Road, Cork. This role is open to a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities of this role are:
Analysis
Support with ad-hoc report requests and analytical queries
Learn and support with our data visualisation system - Microsoft Power BI
Ability to interpret data, to solve complex problems and have the ability consolidate large volumes of information
Communication
Support our teams and our customers - Send reports of prices; be able to answer their questions by having the ability to get requirements from customers and put answers together
Work closely with others on ensuring information is up to date and communicated
Organisation
Provide support to the Commercial Manager and the Branch Managers in operational matters
Co-ordinate key business activities – Reviewing pricing, stock movements etc
System
Support our staff ensuring complex sales order processes are completed
Support with updates on our ERP System, Intact iQ
A Day in the Job - Your typical day could look something like:
You will be a key support for our teams in branches and on the road and help to drive our business forward
You will be integral to us keeping on top of a very large product offering with potentially complex pricing options
You will be a major support in us ensuring our pricing remains correct, competitive and works for everyone
Being a key bridge between different teams and making sure we are fully aware of future orders to ensure we can deliver the products our customers need.
Collaboration is key in your role, working with the Supply Chain Administrator and making sure we’re able to update our sales pricing in line with our purchase pricing has become even more vital as manufacturers and suppliers are seeing cost of goods increases at an accelerated rate.
